Where are you located? Brandt Photography is in the Claxton Community of Powell, Tennessee, between Knoxville, Oak Ridge, and Clinton. We will travel just about anywhere to capture your wedding day! What is your photographic style? We are romance photographers, concentrating on the love, emotion, and speical moments. Photographs are captured with a combination of traditional, artistic and documentary photography. By placing more emphasis on capturing the emotions and reactions of the wedding day through candid photographs, the story of your wedding is captured in a more creative and memorable format. How much time do you spend covering a wedding? Standard wedding coverage includes up to seven hours of wedding covering that can include wedding preparation, formal portraits, arrival and departure, ceremony, reception, and pretty much anything you want covered during that time. Additional time can be booked by the hour or as extended (12-hour) coverage. We cover only one wedding per day, so we can dedicate as much time as you need. Are there any additional film costs? All wedding photography is taken with professional digital photography equipment. Since our cameras do not use traditional film, there are no additional film costs. There are no additional fees above what you contract us for. How many photographs do you take? Since all photographs are taken with digital equipment, there is practically no limit to the number of photographs. You are given a checklist to mark down any specific photographs you would like to have taken. We carry approximately twice as many memory cards as needed and backups of the digital images are made throughout the wedding day, so there is no possibility of running out of "film". On average, we capture approximately 50 to 100 images per hour. The number of proofs will vary depending on the number of images removed and variations added (b&w, sepia tone, color touch) during the pre-proof processing. All images are screened before proofs are made, This allows the best images to be included in the proofs, along with some pictures converted to black and white, sepia tone, and minor retouching to be completed before the proofs are created. A virtual proof CD is created and usually ready within three to five weeks. Who owns the copyright to the photographs? According to Federal law, images produced by a professional photographer are copyrighted from the moment the images is taken. The copyright is the property of the photographer - pictures cannot be copied or reproduced without the photographer's permission. Do you sell the negatives/digital files? The original digital files are available on CD/DVD for purchase one year after the wedding date. Purchase of the digital files includes unlimited personal usage rights. If you include the digital files purchase with an album package, the digital files are delivered with the completed wedding album (which can be sooner than one year). Do you travel outside of the Knoxville area? Yes! We will travel almost anywhere in the world. Wo only charge travel fees for events requiring more than an hour of travel time (one-way). Depending on the distance, there may be additional travel fees to cover travel expenses outside the local Knoxville area. Please contact us if you would like more information. Weddings in the Boston, MA area are arranged through Beacon Hill Photography Please contact us to arrange a no-obligation consultation. Dates are not considered booked until a signed contract and initial payment has been made. If you need time to decide what you would like in your contract, a $100 reservation fee will hold the date for thirty day. Half of the contract total is due when the contract is signed with the remainder due at the preparation meeting (approximately two weeks before the wedding). Weddings booked nine months or more in advance may opt to pay 33% with the signed contract, 33% five months later, and the balance two weeks before the wedding. Additional payment options are available for consideration upon request. |
